Your photo deserves to look its best on canvas. Here is what to expect when the colors on your screen become a printed piece of art.
Why colors can look different
Screens produce light. Canvas reflects the light in your room. A bright phone display can make a photo look lighter or more vivid than the finished print.
Screen settings, the range of colors that ink can reproduce, canvas texture, and room lighting all affect what you see. An on-screen preview is a useful guide, but it cannot guarantee an exact color match.
Before you upload
- Use your original, full-resolution photo rather than a screenshot or a copy saved from social media.
- Review it at a moderate screen brightness with night mode and color-changing display filters turned off.
- Check shadow detail and skin tones. Avoid strong brightness or saturation adjustments just to compensate for your screen.
- For more consistent editing, use a calibrated display.
